Dear Sir John Shuckburgh,
)
In reply to your letter of the 15th of May about reports on the military administratiomin Hong Kong and Malaya, I have only just joined Eastern Department A and have no purgonal knoalodge of reports on Malaya covering this Deriod. Mr. Bjurdi.lon tells me that he does not think any separate reports were received but referred me to the comprehensive printed report drawn up by
Major General (now Sir R.) Hone a copy of which I attach. I do not know if you have seen this or the equivalent report on Hong Kong, a coy of which I am also enclosing. If not they may be of interest to you.
Yours sincerely,
たこ
